Sherlock Holmes was created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle during the Victorian Era;
His detection methods were based upon logic, reason, and solid physical evidence.
Eventually Doyle grew tired of his creation and decided to kill him off at the
Reichenbach Falls in a fatal battle against the evil Professor Moriarty.
London, England and the rest of the world plunged into deep mourning
Over the death of this fictional detective whom they loved and admired;
Conan Doyle was eventually forced to resurrect the beloved detective
Killing Holmes was a bad mistake; Doyle couldn’t escape his creation.
Holmes had a loyal sidekick and biographer in Dr. John Watson
